Post 6: Summer's Plans

Hello everyone! Today I´m going to talk about my summer´s plans.

Well I would like to go to "Torres del Paine" with my boyfriend his name is Gonzalo, because is a beautiful place and a lot of friends have recommended.

                Torres del Paine is a national park with a lot of activities to do like Trekking circuits, horse trips, navigation and Kayaks, climbing and Mountain and fly fishing. Also you can visit different places inside the park like Milodon cave, glaciers, lakes and obviously the big and beautiful   Paine's Horns.

We are planning with Gonzalo do "W trekking circuit" because this is a most easy circuit and we can see the tower base, Paine's Horns and Grey glacier.

                To get to "Torres del Paine", you must get to Punta Arenas and in this city you should take a bus to "Puerto Natales", and then you should take other bus to "Torres del Paine".

                I think this journey will be an unforgettable experience for my boyfriend and me because be away from my home, living extreme experience with beautiful landscape, in a quiet place without noise only he, I and the nature, those memories remain forever.

                Also we will stay in Punta Arenas for 2 weeks because my boyfriend is from that place, and his mon and dad live there.

                I really want to go  and for this reason I´m saving money to travel, therefore I will work during January but I don't know wherein yet.

My holidays in Brazil

My favorite holidays were in 2005, when I was 11 years old, my mom, my grandmother and I went to Brazil. My dad gave us the tickets in Christmas and was very cool because we had never traveled to another country. The city that we met was Camboriu, it is a beautiful city with higher buildings and extensive beach. We went for 7 days and we traveled in airplane for 3 hours, and later we should travel for 1 hour to the hotel. The same day that we arrived, we went to a party for the tourists and was very funny.  Also we got on cable car and we enjoy a lot the beachs.

Also I could meet the “Cristo Luz monument”, this is a big monument of Cristo in Camboriu with a light that illuminates, and this light change color, and in the same place we can find food, clothes and a dancefloor with different singers, I had fun very much in this place and is beautiful. The tour guides were very nice.

I enjoy so much those holidays and are the best holidays that I have had of my life.

Blogging experience

Hello every one, this is the last time I write in the semester and I'm going to talk about mi experience using blogs.

Well I began use blog this year in the English class and at first I thought it was difficult because I had to write a lot of words, but when I started to write about interesting topic for me like my biography, my phobias, my semester, my favorite technological object, my favorite photo, my favorite place, my friends and my pet, the words were born naturally and I could write without problems. This experience was good because I could write about me and this is a good form to know myself and express my emotions, also with the blog I could share experience of my live and my tasted about different things with my classmates, and also I could know about them and their lives.

Also this experience was important because I could write and develop more my English, the blog is a good form to learn about this language because when I write, I learn more than I only read text or books about English.

The next semester I want write about my favorite kind of music and my favorite movie and be able to write more about me and my experience like student of dentistry.

Fayah is her name

Hello every one, the last week I didn’t write because Thursday was holiday, that day is celebrated to “Virgen del Carmen” and I didn’t have classes Friday, but today I’m going to talk about my cute pet.

Fayah (2012)

When I was a child, I never had a pet, but always I liked puppies. In 2012, I saw on a puppies adoption’s fanpage on Facebook and I saw in a picture a small and cute puppy and I loved her immediately then I showed the picture to my mom and she liked too. We called the person who published this picture and the next day she arrived, my little pet arrived to my home. She was very very small and playful. I searched a lot of names to my puppy, and then I decided that her name be Fayah, this name I associate with fire.

My  Fayah is blonde, medium size, and very loving. She is happy when I arrive to my home and she is sad when I go out to my home.

I feel that my puppy is like a sister to me because we play and also we fight and we get angry but all the time we love each other.

Well, this is a small biography about my puppy.

A good teacher

Hello every one, the last week I didn't write because it was my brithday, I'm 21 years old now. It was a good day because Chile won" Copa America" for the first time.

Well, today I´m going to talk about the teacher I admire. This person is a very good teacher his name is Pavel Capetillo, He teaches physics, and has a good history because he studied dentistry and when he finish, studied engineering. He is 32 years old and isn't married and neither has girlfriend. He always is travelling for the world and the next semester he's going to study in Sao Paulo.

I choose him because always is worried that we learn, he explain classes contents as time as is necessary until we learn, doesn't matter if the classes contents was easy or difficult, he always stay with us until we learn. Also, we can share with him in parties and talk about different topics.

The last semester, He teaches us how to dance salsa, with basic steps, it was great and funny. Also, he plays accordion and writes poems. Is a multifaceted men!!

Those are the reasons I admire him.

My dear friends

Hello every one, today I’m going to talk about my friends.

I’m shy, but I like meet new people. I have friends of different places for example, when I start the university I met new people and make new friends, their names are Katherine, Constanza and Rodrigo an for I have very good time because I laugh so much with them.

I always go to dancing classes and in this instance I meet a lot of people. I met my friends in Dancehall dancing classes, their names are Camila, Roberto and Leonardo, and also I meet my boyfriend in these classes. Together we have a dance group. We love Dancehall dancing and we enjoy dancing time. The name of our group is “DH Pride” and we are preparing to dance in a big event in November.

Camila and Roberto are couple and they have a baby, his name is Maximo. He is so cute and when he listens to music, he dances.

In the school, I met Allyson and Catalina. We have been friends for 6 years. We don’t see even but we talked for whatsapp. When I see them, we talk a lot about our lives, I enjoy those moments.

Well, they are my friends and I love them so much.

The beach, my favorite place

Hello, today I’m going talk about my favorite place.

In the summer, I love going the beach, I love watching the sea, walk for the sand and I love the clean air and the coolness of the nights. I like the life in “viña del mar” because is a city like Santiago with malls, cinemas, food places, hospitals, supermarket, but important difference, Viña del mar have beach and for this is a perfect place for live, and when I finish my career I going to live in Viña del mar.

I don’t like cold water because I’m so sensitive to cold and when I go to the beach, I don’t swim in the sea, but I like to sit in the sand and wet my feet.

The last summer I went to Viña del Mar with my boyfriend and we had a very good time. We went for walk on the sand and we went to Valparaíso to ate “chorillana” in “ J. Cruz”, it’s delicious!!!

In September, I want to go to the beach for relaxing and recharge energy for the finish de year.

MY FAVORITE PHOTO

I like so much this photography, it was taken the last year in a dancehall dance show in Maipu. This is a big event because take part a lot of dancers of different places, is a good moment for meet people and share our dance. I have participated for 3 years in this event and the last year I take part with a group of friends, my crew, our name is “DH pride”. This is a very good photo, and it was taken for a photographer of this show. This is my favorite photo because shows my dance, shows a good moment for me, and when I see it, I remember good moments like laughter and moments with good friends, I remember what I felt, when I dance I feel happiness, I feel very good,  I feel free.

I like so much prepare shows, is very entertained for me because it distracts me of my obligations and I like so much choose the clothes we will use in the show.

My phobias

Today I’m going to talk about my phobias

In general, I don’t like the insects, I don’t know why but when I see them, my body is paralyzed and only I can scream and ask for help.

I hate cockroach with all my heart, I don’t like, I think they are horrible however I can’t kill them and when I see it I run!.

Also I hate worms, I can’t think about them because I feel that I have worms on my body! I think my phobia about worms started when I was a child, I watched a TV programme about medical emergency, this TV programme showed a case about a woman with holes in her arms, and in the examination, the doctor found worms in this holes.

The big spiders scare me and I can’t be quiet until my mom kill them, then I stop to scream! Hahaha.

My dear mobile phone

Today I’m going to talk about my mobile phone because is a very important technological object in our life, and I like so much because it’s small and has a lot of functions.



My mobile phone is very useful because I can call my mom and dad when I’m in different places away from my home. It’s a smartphone therefore can listen to music, take photos, and talk on line with my friends and family for whatsApp or Facebook because it used 3G or mobile internet. I used it all time, at the university, in my home, in the street, in the cook, in my room, etc…

I bought my new mobile phone that is a Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus because my old mobile phone fell and it was broken. This mobile phone was a Sony Xperia and I liked so much.

I miss my old mobile phone, it was cool!

My third semester like mini dentist

This year is very difficult because in some years I will work in attention of patient therefore, we need a good preparation in class.

The subjects are very complex, it’s a lot of information by class and everything is important. I like practical work but I don’t work in that up to now.

I like investigation therefore I’m going to work in a laboratory like helper in the investigation about: 

Unveiling molecular basis for muscle remodeling and muscle-bone crosstalk at the masticatory apparatus: extracellular ATP as a signaling molecule.  I think is very interesting and I have learn so much about the receptors and muscle.

To keep fit I’m going to class of Zumba and also I’m going to GYM at university.

This year I want to have good marks and enjoy my career.

I and my life

Hi, my name is Karina and now I am going to talk about me.

I was born in July 5 of 1994, in this city, Santiago that day my grandfather and my grandmother were so happy because I am only daughter of my mother, I don’t have any brothers or sisters.

I live in a house in Recoleta with my mom, her name is Graciela, and with my puppy her name is Fayah.

When I was a child I liked dance so much, I danced folklore for 3 years, and now I dance dancehall, that is a Jamaican dance similar to hip hop, I have classes with different teacher the other countries like France.

In 2005 I used brackets for a very long time and then I wanted to study odontology.

Now I study odontology and I am so happy for this.
